Litter picking volunteers collect things other people leave behind them.
Litter picking takes place twice a month, on the 1st Wednesday of the month and every 4th Monday.
Start times on both days are 11am.
We aim to work for 1 – 1.5 hours each time, depending on the volume of litter and number of volunteers.
We rotate around the main car parks (Harlaw, Threipmuir, Bonaly, Flotterstone), with the occasional one-off at sites such as Castlelaw, Boghall, Dreghorn, Swanston and laybys on the A702.
There may be occasional one-off clean-ups in response to requests for help.
Anybody who joins the litter picking group will be notified for each session of litter picking, where and when to meet.
