Gardening

We have been maintaining the wildlife garden beside Harlaw Visitor Centre on behalf of the Natural Heritage Service since 2010.

The gardening team meet at Harlaw at 10.00 am every second Thursday for about two hours from April until October.

Gardeners come when they are able to and there is no expectation for anyone to attend on every occasion. Our routine tasks are to cut the grass, tend the flower beds, plant more wildflowers and cut back vegetation/trees that are obstructing pathways.

The group also tend the raised bed just outside Harlaw Wildlife Garden.
